Family and Community

Members of the community are the lifeblood of the organization and an integral part of the JRC. Community members serve on the JRC's Board of Directors and on committees. More than 80 volunteers give their time to the JRC, Woodbridge Assisted Living, and the Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Center. Thanks to wide involvement, our seniors remain active participants in community life. Friends of the JRCL, and other volunteers participate in important annual fundraising events that raise vitally needed funds to maintain the highest quality of life, for which the JRC is known.

We welcome the involvement of families in all facets of the JRC. Families are partners in every aspect of JRC life, meeting with staff to ensure every resident is adjusting well and living life to the fullest.
