The Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Center
S-RADC established in 1982, provides a supervised, protective environment for seniors still able to live in their own homes. In fact, participation in the S-RADC program often prolongs independence and delays or prevents long-term skilled nursing center placement. Daily activities promote creative expression and increased self-esteem.
The S-RADC offers a warm, friendly environment with varied activities including:
- Daily Exercise Program
- Dancing
- Gardening
- Community Outings
- Sporting Events
- Music/Art Program
- Discussion and special interest groups
Special programs are tailored to those participants who are physically and/or cognitively impaired. Groups and one-to-one activities promote the development of friendships.
Staffing
Registered nurses, licensed social workers, certified nursing assistants, and activity personnel work as a team to provide a comprehensive assessment and to implement a treatment plan, including activities, for each participant.

The Center operates Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants can choose to attend the Center as few as two days a week, or up to five days. Transportation to and from the Center is available.
